Man is trying to become anti-social proof. So right there is conflict, from what is , that is being social and what should be that is anti-social proof or withstand being alone. There is friction between the two and wastage of energy.
Jiddu asks, why should one have the opposite at, like anti-socialness, as the ideal ? The thing is not real, it has no meaning, it only leads to clashes, a being having social needs inside but pretending and forcing to be anti-social.
So if can one, just put the abstraction away and only look face to face with the fact, that is we are social being, there is no wastage of energy.
I will observe what “desire to meet people is”, not try to escape or rationalize it.
